Certificate Requirements

This certificate of advanced study is open to current graduate students in engineering, science and other substantive areas that would benefit from knowledge of public management and policy processes. The certificate requires students to take a total of 12 credits (four courses).

Two foundation courses must be selected from the following:

• PAI 712 - Public Organizations and Management 3 credit(s)
• PAI 734 - Public Budgeting 3 credit(s)
• PAI 755 - Public Administration and Democracy 3 credit(s)

Additional Information

Student choose their remaining six credits (two courses) from a selection of “public management” or “public policy” focused courses offered by the Department of Public Administration and International Affairs.
