The photography program offers two tracks: Commercial & Advertising Photography and Editorial Photography & Photojournalism. Both tracks develop a strong working knowledge of video, as well as creative use of lighting, both on location and in studio. Collaboration with students from various programs across departments is highly encouraged. Students also study entrepreneurship, communications law and ethics, as well as develop communications writing and graphic design skills.
Commercial & Advertising Photography
This track in Commercial & Advertising Photography covers the areas of advertising, commercial, fashion, food, and portraiture illustration photography for print and digital publications.
Editorial Photography & Photojournalism
This track in Editorial Photography & Photojournalism is for students interested in documentary storytelling and visual journalism both online and in print publications.
