Description
The Public Health program offers certificates of advanced study (CAS) in Addictions Studies and Global Health, a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a combined Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The Addiction Studies, Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) is an online 12-credit hour graduate program designed to provide students with core knowledge and skills needed for the development and evaluation of programs and policies pertinent to addictive behaviors.
The Global Health, Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) is a 15-credit hour graduate program providing students applied skills in global health policy and practice. The program emphasizes the integration of social and behavioral determinants of health combined with practice and evidence-based strategies for developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and policies in global settings. Note:This program is currently closed to admissions.
The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a 42-credit hour graduate program designed to provide students with core knowledge and skills necessary for the development, implementation, and advancement of evidence-based public health initiatives. The MPH includes a single concentration in Global Health. The MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH).
The MPH/MBA is an 81-credit hour combined degree program designed to prepare students for careers that require an understanding of both business and public health, capitalizing on the analytical training of the Whitman School and the public health training of the Falk College. The MPH program is accredited by the Council on Education in Public Health (CEPH and the MBA program is accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
