Introductory proficiency-based course which prepares students to understand, speak, read, and write in culturally authentic contexts. Activities are conducted in German. No prior experience or admission by placement testing. Students cannot enroll in GER 101 after successfully completing GER 102, GER 201, or GER 202 or higher.
